Ce cas d\u00e9montre que les architectures bas\u00e9es sur des FPGA deviennent un \u00e9l\u00e9ment essentiel de l'architecture vid\u00e9o. <strong>n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 au niveau du syst\u00e8me<\/strong>, Il ne s'agit donc pas d'un choix de fonctionnalit\u00e9.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-506c7d4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"506c7d4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 data-start=\"839\" data-end=\"913\">Lorsque les syst\u00e8mes d'affichage s'\u00e9tendent, la pr\u00e9visibilit\u00e9 devient la v\u00e9ritable exigence.<\/h2><p data-start=\"915\" data-end=\"1176\">Dans les environnements d'art num\u00e9rique \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle, les d\u00e9fis techniques sont rarement li\u00e9s aux sp\u00e9cifications principales telles que la r\u00e9solution ou la luminosit\u00e9.<br data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1054\" \/>Le v\u00e9ritable d\u00e9fi se pose lorsque <strong data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1175\">les syst\u00e8mes d'affichage s'\u00e9tendent au-del\u00e0 de dizaines, voire de centaines, de sorties synchronis\u00e9es<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"1178\" data-end=\"1249\">\u00c0 ce stade, la question \u00e0 laquelle les architectes de syst\u00e8mes doivent r\u00e9pondre n'est plus la m\u00eame :<\/p><blockquote data-start=\"1251\" data-end=\"1292\"><p data-start=\"1253\" data-end=\"1292\"><em data-start=\"1253\" data-end=\"1292\">\u201cLe syst\u00e8me peut-il afficher le contenu ?\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote><p data-start=\"1294\" data-end=\"1305\">mais plut\u00f4t :<\/p><blockquote data-start=\"1307\" data-end=\"1417\"><p data-start=\"1309\" data-end=\"1417\"><em data-start=\"1309\" data-end=\"1417\">\u201cLe syst\u00e8me se comportera-t-il de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re tous les jours, apr\u00e8s chaque red\u00e9marrage, changement de source ou cycle de maintenance ?\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote><p data-start=\"1419\" data-end=\"1735\">Les <strong>teamLab art num\u00e9rique<\/strong> repr\u00e9sentent un exemple extr\u00eame mais tr\u00e8s instructif de ce probl\u00e8me. Leurs environnements combinent des centaines de projecteurs, des pipelines de contenu personnalis\u00e9s et un fonctionnement continu \u00e0 long terme. Dans de telles conditions, <strong data-start=\"1659\" data-end=\"1708\">le comportement du syst\u00e8me doit \u00eatre pr\u00e9visible d\u00e8s la conception<\/strong>, et non pas corrig\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re r\u00e9active.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"1742\" data-end=\"1806\">Le probl\u00e8me architectural : l'orchestration logicielle a une limite<\/h2><p data-start=\"1808\" data-end=\"2004\">teamLab est bien connu pour ses syst\u00e8mes de contenu et de contr\u00f4le d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s en interne. Ces syst\u00e8mes coordonnent des centaines d'ordinateurs, g\u00e8rent la lecture du contenu et orchestrent des r\u00e9cits spatiaux complexes.<\/p><p data-start=\"2006\" data-end=\"2093\">Cependant, m\u00eame avec une orchestration logicielle avanc\u00e9e, une limite architecturale demeure :<\/p><p data-start=\"2095\" data-end=\"2229\"><strong data-start=\"2095\" data-end=\"2229\">Les logiciels excellent dans la coordination, mais peinent \u00e0 imposer un d\u00e9terminisme au niveau de la trame sur des syst\u00e8mes d'affichage h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e8nes et de grande taille.<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"2231\" data-end=\"2313\">Au fur et \u00e0 mesure que l'\u00e9chelle du syst\u00e8me augmente, le traitement bas\u00e9 sur des logiciels introduit des risques in\u00e9vitables :<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"2317\" data-end=\"2347\">D\u00e9rive temporelle entre les sorties<\/li><li data-start=\"2350\" data-end=\"2391\">D\u00e9pendance de l'\u00e9tat apr\u00e8s un red\u00e9marrage ou une mise \u00e0 jour<\/li><li data-start=\"2394\" data-end=\"2438\">Comportement incoh\u00e9rent apr\u00e8s un changement de source<\/li><li data-start=\"2441\" data-end=\"2497\">Sensibilit\u00e9 accrue aux variations du syst\u00e8me d'exploitation, du pilote ou du processeur graphique<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2499\" data-end=\"2653\">Souvent, ces probl\u00e8mes n'apparaissent pas lors de la mise en service, mais <strong data-start=\"2558\" data-end=\"2591\">la surface des mois ou des ann\u00e9es plus tard<\/strong>, pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment lorsque les installations sont cens\u00e9es fonctionner sans surveillance.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"2660\" data-end=\"2720\">Pourquoi le traitement bas\u00e9 sur les FPGA est-il utilis\u00e9 dans les environnements teamLab ?<\/h2><p data-start=\"2722\" data-end=\"2887\">Les processeurs GeoBox utilis\u00e9s dans les installations teamLab ne remplacent pas les syst\u00e8mes de contenu ou de contr\u00f4le de teamLab. Ils occupent plut\u00f4t une <strong data-start=\"2850\" data-end=\"2886\">r\u00f4le architectural tr\u00e8s sp\u00e9cifique<\/strong>:<\/p><blockquote data-start=\"2889\" data-end=\"2977\"><p data-start=\"2891\" data-end=\"2977\"><strong data-start=\"2891\" data-end=\"2977\">Ils imposent un comportement vid\u00e9o d\u00e9terministe avant m\u00eame que les images n'atteignent les projecteurs.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote><p data-start=\"2979\" data-end=\"3008\">Cette distinction est essentielle.<\/p><p data-start=\"3010\" data-end=\"3090\">Le traitement bas\u00e9 sur les FPGA diff\u00e8re fondamentalement des pipelines vid\u00e9o bas\u00e9s sur des logiciels :<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"3094\" data-end=\"3209\"><strong data-start=\"3094\" data-end=\"3123\">Fili\u00e8re de traitement fixe<\/strong><br data-start=\"3123\" data-end=\"3126\" \/>Le chemin du signal est d\u00e9fini dans le mat\u00e9riel et ne change pas en fonction de l'\u00e9tat du syst\u00e8me.<\/li><li data-start=\"3213\" data-end=\"3340\"><strong data-start=\"3213\" data-end=\"3246\">Comportement temporel d\u00e9terministe<\/strong><br data-start=\"3246\" data-end=\"3249\" \/>Chaque image est trait\u00e9e et \u00e9mise avec une latence constante, ind\u00e9pendamment de l'\u00e9chelle du syst\u00e8me.<\/li><li data-start=\"3344\" data-end=\"3487\"><strong data-start=\"3344\" data-end=\"3397\">Comportement r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9 apr\u00e8s un red\u00e9marrage ou un changement de source<\/strong><br data-start=\"3397\" data-end=\"3400\" \/>Le syst\u00e8me se comporte de mani\u00e8re identique \u00e0 chaque d\u00e9marrage, sans n\u00e9cessiter de recalibrage.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"3489\" data-end=\"3726\">Dans l'impl\u00e9mentation de teamLab, chaque unit\u00e9 GeoBox g\u00e8re le recadrage, la rotation et la gestion du chevauchement au pixel pr\u00e8s pour plusieurs projecteurs. Il est important de noter que ce traitement est <strong data-start=\"3660\" data-end=\"3725\">d\u00e9coupl\u00e9e de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de contenu et des couches de contr\u00f4le logiciel<\/strong>. Cette s\u00e9paration n'est pas une question de performance. Elle concerne <strong data-start=\"3784\" data-end=\"3804\">limitation des risques<\/strong>.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"4832\" data-end=\"4869\">Ce que cette affaire d\u00e9montre r\u00e9ellement<\/h2><p data-start=\"4871\" data-end=\"5019\">Cette mise en \u0153uvre est souvent d\u00e9crite comme un d\u00e9ploiement r\u00e9ussi de GeoBox. D'un point de vue architectural, ce cadrage passe \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l'essentiel. <strong data-start=\"5021\" data-end=\"5120\">La vraie le\u00e7on est que certaines exigences du syst\u00e8me ne peuvent pas \u00eatre r\u00e9solues par le seul logiciel de mise \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle.<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"5122\" data-end=\"5144\">Dans les environnements o\u00f9 :<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"5148\" data-end=\"5171\">Le nombre d'affichages est \u00e9lev\u00e9<\/li><li data-start=\"5174\" data-end=\"5203\">La synchronisation est essentielle<\/li><li data-start=\"5206\" data-end=\"5250\">Un fonctionnement sans surveillance \u00e0 long terme est pr\u00e9vu<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"5252\" data-end=\"5349\">Une couche de traitement vid\u00e9o d\u00e9terministe bas\u00e9e sur le mat\u00e9riel devient une n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 plut\u00f4t qu'une option. Le traitement bas\u00e9 sur un FPGA n'est pas choisi parce qu'il est flexible, mais parce qu'il est <strong data-start=\"5429\" data-end=\"5444\">pr\u00e9visible<\/strong>.<\/p><h2 data-start=\"5452\" data-end=\"5504\">Implications pour l'architecture d'affichage \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle<\/h2><p data-start=\"5506\" data-end=\"5597\">L'exemple du teamLab met en \u00e9vidence un changement plus large dans la mani\u00e8re dont les syst\u00e8mes d'affichage complexes sont con\u00e7us :<\/p><p><strong>De la s\u00e9lection des dispositifs en fonction des caract\u00e9ristiques \u00e0 l'architecture des syst\u00e8mes en fonction des responsabilit\u00e9s<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"5690\" data-end=\"5833\">Les environnements d'affichage devenant de plus en plus vastes et complexes, la d\u00e9cision de conception la plus importante est souvent la suivante <strong data-start=\"5793\" data-end=\"5832\">avant que le contenu n'atteigne les \u00e9crans<\/strong>. Cette d\u00e9cision ne concerne pas la r\u00e9solution ou le support de format.
