Epson edge blending projectors are of great quality and project beautiful images. Edge blending is not always needed, but is a very valuable trait. Built-in edge blending produces amazing big screen images and visually combines multiple projectors from within one single product. They are not only great for big displays; you can always scale it down too.

Edge blending multiple projectors

Edge blending projectors can combine up to a certain number of projectors, depending on the model you buy. Edge blending visually combines multiple projected images and makes it look like it’s projected as a whole. Using this technology you can scale up the size of your display without actually messing up the quality.

Epson edge blending projectors can also be used to create a brighter displayed image (stacking) : when fully overlapping the same image multiple times, it becomes brighter.

Edge blending projectors can be useful for education, art displays, business, and in any big space in which you need a little extra help.

We have two types of hardware controllers specializing in providing the functions you will need when edge blending multiple images:

Firstly, if you are using edge blending projectors, our G406 video wall controller which allows you to precisely crop signal sources into multiple pieces with overlap, so you can assign them to each projectors. (please find below picture 1) When combining images from multiple projectors, you’ll be asked to convert source into multiple outputs. This can be done by PC with multiple graphic cards or outputs. However, this won’t be applicable when you have external source, like media player. On the other hand, if your projectors have no edge blending functions embedded, though you still want to combine multiple of them seamlessly, GeoBox edge blending controller will be perfect solution for you.
