Solution 3D pour le public
Public 3D You Can Trust
Public 3D systems designed for shared understanding, stable operation, and real-world decision-making. NO headsets, NO isolation.
Public 3D. Real Depth. Shared by Everyone.
Most Public 3D systems look impressive in demos, but struggle to perform reliably in professional environments. The challenge is not image quality, but system behaviour over time.
Without deterministic timing and long-term reliability,
Public 3D cannot be trusted for real work.
This is where GeoBox, together with Digital Projection and INFITEC, plays a critical role.
Through a tightly integrated hardware architecture, Public 3D evolves from a demonstration technology into a system that can be trusted in professional environments.
The following are the most common failure modes we see in Public 3D projects — and how system architecture determines whether they can be avoided:
| What goes wrong | Why it happens in typical systems | How we prevents it |
|---|---|---|
| Visual instability and eye fatigue during extended operation | Software-based timing jitter and GPU scheduling | FPGA-based deterministic frame processing |
| Left/right eye desynchronisation | OS, drivers, and rendering pipeline drift | Hardware-level stereo separation and frame lock |
| System instability after updates | OS and driver updates change behaviour | No OS, no drivers, no update dependency |
| Multi-projector inconsistency | Lack of precise output synchronisation | Hardware multi-output synchronisation |
| High maintenance effort | Complex software stacks | Simple, predictable hardware architecture |
| Unclear responsibility when issues occur | Multiple software and hardware vendors | Single, defined hardware processing layer |
These failures are not accidental.
They are structural limitations of software-driven 3D pipelines.
Key Operational Challenges and How we Address Them
Reliable Public 3D Without Flicker or Visual Drift
Challenge
Public 3D systems often suffer from flicker, timing instability, and eye fatigue during extended operation.
Our approach
FPGA-based deterministic frame processing combined with INFITEC spectral separation ensures stable left/right eye timing without software dependency.
Result
Flicker-free 3D suitable for multi-hour professional and public viewing.
3D Operation in Fully Lit Professional Spaces
Challenge
Traditional 3D systems require darkened rooms to maintain contrast and stereo separation.
Our approach
Digital Projector E-Vision ultra high brightness laser projection, and INFITEC high-efficiency spectral filtering, and precision signal control preserve brightness and stereo quality under ambient lighting.
Result
The 3D systems suitable for multi-hour viewing in classrooms, labs, meeting rooms, and public spaces without darkening the environment.
Scalable Multi-Projector and Immersive 3D Environments
Challenge
As systems scale, synchronisation and alignment across multiple projectors become difficult to maintain.
Our approach
GeoBox hardware-level multi-output synchronisation, geometry correction, and edge blending keep all channels phase-locked.
Result
Uniform, spatially consistent 3D from a single wall to large immersive environments
Enterprise-Grade Stability for Permanent Installations
Challenge
Software updates, OS changes, and driver conflicts introduce downtime and unpredictable behaviour.
Our approach
Pure hardware video processing with no operating system, no drivers, and no background processes.
Result
A stable, maintainable 3D infrastructure suitable for long-term professional installations.

How it is guaranteed?
This is not a feature set. It is a system architecture designed to eliminate failure modes in Public 3D.
GeoBox process stereoscopic content at the hardware level, separating left and right eye images with precise timing control. These signals are delivered to dual high-brightness Digital Projection laser projectors and filtered using INFITEC spectral technology, ensuring clean stereo separation and consistent colour performance.
Unlike software-based systems, the entire stereo pipeline is defined in hardware, eliminating timing jitter, background processes, and update-related risks.
System configuration:
- Input source: GeoBox accepts all kinds of 3D and video sources including Blu-ray DVD, PC, and dual camera 3D system.
- Signal Decode: GeoBox decodes the 3D video signal input then outputs signals for both left and right eyes for passive 3D projection.
- Projection: Two Digital Projection projectors stacked on the screen through GeoBox geometry alignment. Each projector displays video for one eye via an Infitec filter.
- Viewing: With Infitec passive 3D projection system, no special screen material is required.
What this means for decision makers:
- No operating system, no software updates, no driver conflicts
- Predictable behaviour that can be tested and verified
- Stable operation for multi-hour daily use and multi-year installations
- Lower operational risk and clearer responsibility during deployment

What's Included
GeoBox UD102 video processor
Les UD102 video processor connects with every known 3D format and video source – from 3D endoscopes in medicine, through 3D cameras to games consoles and PCs.
UD102 also ‘warps and blends’, which fulfils 3D projection’s need to have two images perfectly overlapped on each other.
Dual Digital Projection E-Vision projectors
Two industry-leading projectors for an unparalleled visual experience:
- Digital Projection E-Vision 15000i 4K for one eye
- Digital Projection E-Vision 10000i 4K+ RGB for another eye
This dual-projector configuration delivers exceptional brightness, true 4K resolution, and vibrant color accuracy—perfect for large screens and experience lifelike 3D that captivates every audience.
Infitec 3D filters and Glasses
Infitec is unique in the world of 3D projection, not just because this system works on any surface, even a white wall (all other passive systems will only work on silvered screens), but also because the colour quality
and fidelity is unmatched.
The various glasses options are all lightweight and low cost.
