Video Wall Project Illuminates Noxus TV Headquarters Germany
Since 2019, GeoBox has been officially introduced to European audiovisual professionals and has consistently been recognized as a powerful solution for geometric alignment and edge blending. While most projects involve connecting projectors to GeoBox, it’s important to note that almost every GeoBox is also equipped with extraordinary video wall controlling functions. Today, we received a video from our partner, Display XXL, showcasing a beautiful project they completed for Noxus TV in Erfurt, Germany.
Discovering Erfurt: Where History Meets Innovation
Erfurt, the vibrant capital of Thuringia, is a testament to the enduring beauty of history and the embrace of modern innovation. Its medieval charm is evident in the impeccably preserved old town, with its quaint half-timbered houses and cobblestone pathways. Landmarks like the awe-inspiring Erfurt Cathedral, the iconic Krämerbrücke (Merchants’ Bridge), and the majestic fortress of Petersberg add to the city’s allure. Erfurt comes alive with events like the Merchants’ Bridge Festival, which celebrates local craftsmanship and traditions.
Noxus TV: Pioneering Media Excellence in Erfurt
Noxus TV is an influential media powerhouse in Erfurt, delivering a diverse mix of engaging content across multiple genres. Renowned for its innovative programming, it caters to a wide audience, encompassing entertainment and education. Notable programs include:
- “Erfurt Chronicles”: A captivating documentary series that unravels the rich tapestry of Erfurt’s history, showcasing architectural wonders, historical anecdotes, and the city’s evolution over centuries.
- “Innovate Erfurt”: A visionary program that highlights local trailblazers, entrepreneurs, and cutting-edge technologies emerging from Erfurt’s dynamic landscape. It showcases the city’s contributions to technological advancements and innovation.
- “Artisans’ Corner”: A tribute to Erfurt’s artisanal legacy, featuring skilled craftsmen and their traditional techniques, bridging the past and present in a celebration of craftsmanship.
- “Youth Speak”: An empowering segment that amplifies the voices of Erfurt’s youth, fostering dialogue on important issues, aspirations, and youth-driven initiatives. It provides a platform for meaningful engagement.
These programs epitomize Noxus TV’s dedication to capturing the essence of Erfurt – its history, innovation, cultural heritage, and vibrant community – through engaging and diverse content.
Unveiling the Technical Artistry of the Video Wall Project
Components:
- Samsung 43″ Signages: Eight units strategically arranged to form a captivating video wall at the entrance of Noxus TV, inviting visitors into a visual spectacle.
- GeoBox G406L Units: Two units serving as the invisible hands orchestrating seamless content management and transmission from the Windows Mini-PC to the Samsung signages.
- Windows Mini-PC: The central hub for content delivery, showcasing reference projects and new content in a portrait format, adding a touch of modernity to the visual narrative.
Configurations:
- Content Transmission: A symphony of one HDMI input branching into eight outputs, ensuring a seamless and uniform display across all signages, captivating every onlooker.
- Flexibility in Display: The G406L units unlock a world of possibilities, facilitating separate supply via an additional notebook and enabling a 4/4 screen split to showcase two independent source contents. This amplifies display functionality and adaptability.
Display XXL, the revered technical partner and visionary system integrator specializing in signage video walls, played a pivotal role in the success of this project. Torsten and his adept team, pioneers in recognizing GeoBox’s prowess in Germany, deserve applause. Collaborating with this professional team has been a joy, and their unwavering support with GeoBox has been invaluable in bringing this visual marvel to life.
