G406
BUILT FOR MULTI-DISPLAY SYSTEMS

One Processing Platform for Video Walls, Mixed Display Layouts and Projection Systems

Multi-Screen Video Walls

Distribute one high-resolution source across multiple displays with independent cropping, scaling, positioning and bezel adjustment for every output.

Best for: LCD video walls, command displays, presentation walls and multi-monitor visualization systems.

Mixed-Orientation Display Arrays

Combine portrait and landscape displays while independently adjusting image rotation, image position and aspect ratio for each screen.

Best for: creative display walls, asymmetric layouts and installations combining different screen orientations.

Projection Front-End

Prepare cropped, scaled and synchronized images for multiple projectors while leaving geometry correction and edge blending to projectors that already provide those functions.

Best for: multi-projector systems where source distribution and image preparation are required upstream of the projectors.

CORE PROCESSING

WHAT G400 DOES

Control How High-Resolution Content Is Distributed Across Multiple Displays

The G400 Series separates the source canvas from the physical display layout.

Each output can independently select, crop, scale, position and orient the required image region, allowing the display system to be configured without rebuilding the original content.

Image Cropping & Distribution

Divide One High-Resolution Canvas Across Multiple Displays

Select the required image region for each output and distribute one 4K or ultra-wide source across multiple FHD, WUXGA or custom-resolution display channels.

Independent image positioning and edge adjustment allow the visible canvas to be aligned with the physical display layout rather than being fixed by the original source format.

Typical applications

  • LCD video walls
  • Multi-monitor display systems
  • Ultra-wide presentation surfaces
  • Multi-projector installations
  • Cascaded display systems

Independent Scaling & Positioning

Match Each Output to the Required Display Area

Each output channel can independently resize and reposition its assigned source region.

This allows displays with different visible areas, bezel dimensions or installation positions to be aligned without changing the source content.

Image Rotation & Aspect-Ratio Control

Adapt Content to the Physical Display Orientation

Each processing channel can independently adjust image orientation and aspect ratio according to the connected display.

Available image operations include:

  • 90° / 180° / 270° rotation
  • Mirror / flip
  • Independent scaling
  • Image positioning
  • Aspect-ratio adjustment
  • Pixel-based edge adjustment
  • Bezel compensation

Portrait and landscape displays can therefore be combined within the same system without preparing separate source content for each orientation.

Note:

For 90° / 270° portrait processing, the G400 Series supports source signals up to 4K30. Applications requiring 4K60 source processing in portrait orientation should use the G900 Series.

Custom Output Resolution

G400 supports user-defined output resolution and timing for downstream devices that require non-standard signal formats.

This is particularly useful when working with:

  • dvLED controllers and custom-resolution display systems
  • Applications requiring a specific output refresh rate, such as 50 Hz
  • Downstream devices requiring user-defined output timing
custom output resolution

Multi-Source Display Assignment

Assign Different Sources Within the Same Four-Display System

G406 adds flexible multi-source assignment for applications requiring different content on different displays.

Its HDMI and DisplayPort inputs can be assigned to different processing channel groups, enabling configurations such as:

  • One source across all four displays
  • Separate sources on different displays
  • Mixed source assignments within one four-screen wall
  • Different operating layouts stored as system profiles

For suitable four-display installations, this can reduce the need for an additional external matrix switcher.

Model note: Multi-source assignment is a specific advantage of G406. G408 and G406S are primarily optimized for high-channel-count source distribution and image processing.

Projector Overlap Preparation

Prepare Each Projector Image Before Warp & Blend

G400 can crop the appropriate source region for each projector and include the required overlap area between adjacent outputs.

The downstream projectors then perform:

  • Geometry correction
  • Edge blending
  • Optical alignment

This architecture is particularly useful when the projectors already provide sufficient geometry and edge-blending capability, but the system still requires flexible source cropping, distribution, scaling, custom output timing and synchronization.
