UD100 SERIES
Multi-Projection Processing with Flexible Geometry Control
Scalable 4K video processing for multi-projector edge blending, geometry correction and high-resolution display systems. Start with the outputs required for the project and expand larger projector arrays by combining synchronized UD100 processors.
What UD100 Does
The UD100 Series brings full 4K output processing to professional multi-projector systems, combining high-resolution image distribution, advanced geometry correction and edge blending in dedicated hardware. UD101L provides single-channel geometry processing, while UD102, UD103 and UD104 add multi-output edge blending.
Image Cropping & Distribution
Capture selected regions from a high-resolution source and distribute them independently across multiple 4K outputs. DisplayPort input supports resolutions up to 7680×4320 at 30 Hz, allowing demanding source canvases to remain independent from projector-side alignment.
Four-Side Edge Blending
UD102, UD103 and UD104 provide independent four-side edge blending for horizontal, vertical and multi-row projector arrangements. Blend regions can be adjusted up to 1920 pixels horizontally and 1200 pixels vertically, with independent RGB gamma correction.
Edge blending and related blend-zone adjustments apply to M812, M813 and M814.
Advanced 4K output Geometry Correction
Correct projection geometry on flat, curved, angled and irregular surfaces using up to 120×68 control points. Corner-wall correction, linearity adjustment and extended geometry range provide precise alignment for demanding 4K projection environments.
Black-Level Uplift
Raise the black level of non-overlap areas to better match the brightness of blended regions. This helps reduce visible differences in dark scenes across multi-projector installations.
Need Multi-Source Layouts Across the Full Canvas?
UD100 provides per-channel PIP / POP and 2 / 3 / 4 split-view processing, together with professional 3D format conversion. These functions add flexibility for specialist visualization, medical, simulation and 3D projection workflows.
For multi-source or multiview layouts across the full projection surface, add an S902 or G901 upstream of the UD100 Series.
S902 for freely editable multi-window layouts.
G901 for fixed multiview / PiP workflows and applications requiring programmable output timing.
Video Performance
The UD100 Series preserves professional video quality throughout the processing pipeline, supporting full-chroma processing, high-resolution source formats and deterministic FPGA-based operation.
Native 4K Output
Each processing channel provides selectable output up to 4096×2160 at 60 Hz matching the native resolution of 4K or UHD projectors.
High-Resolution DP Input
DisplayPort 1.4 input supports source resolutions up to 7680×4320 at 30 Hz.
Full Chroma Processing
RGB / YUV 4:4:4 processing preserves full chroma detail for text, graphics and high-resolution professional AV content.
Dedicated Hardware Processing
Scaling, geometry correction, blending and synchronization are handled by dedicated hardware processing without relying on an operating-system or GPU-based display pipeline.
Engineering Features
System-level functions simplify integration, commissioning and long-term operation in fixed professional AV installations.
Frame Synchronization
Frame-lock synchronization maintains stable timing across multiple output channels and across cascaded UD100 processors
Profile Saving & Recall
Store up to 10 complete system configurations for fast recall during operation, maintenance or different presentation modes.
Programmable EDID
Configure EDID settings to manage source compatibility and define the preferred input format for different system requirements.
Custom Output Timing
Define custom output resolution and timing when the display requires a non-standard format, including dvLED applications and projector requires a non-standard refresh rate.
GCT PC Tool
Configure and manage GeoBox settings from a PC for faster installation, alignment and commissioning workflows.
External Control
Integrate GeoBox functions with third-party control systems for remote operation, preset recall and system automation.
Typical System Architecture
UD100 sits between the source system and the projectors, providing independent 4K cropping, geometry correction, edge blending and output synchronization. The source architecture can use one high-resolution canvas or multiple source feeds depending on the total native pixel requirement.
The following example shows an UD103 in a three-projector configuration:
Note: If the complete native canvas fits within a single supported source format, UD100 can crop and distribute that canvas across the projector outputs. For larger native-resolution systems, multiple source feeds and multiple UD100 processors can be combined without changing the projector-side processing concept
Scale Beyond One Processor
Multiple UD100 processors can operate as synchronized 4K processing nodes, extending the same crop, geometry and edge-blending workflow beyond the outputs of a single chassis.
Multi-Source Layouts
When multiple live sources need to be positioned across the complete blended canvas, an S902 or G901 can be placed upstream of the UD100 Series. The upstream processor creates the multi-source canvas, while UD100 handles projector-side cropping, geometry correction, edge blending and output synchronization.
UD100 Series Models
Choose the model according to the required number of 4K outputs and processing functions. UD101L provides single-channel geometry processing, while UD102, UD103 and UD104 add four-side edge blending for multi-projector systems.
UD102
OUTPUTS
Dual-4K-projector edge blending and professional passive 3D systems.
UD103
OUTPUTS
Three-projector 4K immersive, panoramic and interactive display installations.
UD104
OUTPUTS
Four-projector 4K arrays and larger scalable multi-processor systems.
UD101L
OUTPUT

Choose UD100 When
- Each projector requires native UHD / 4K output processing.
- Advanced geometry correction is required on curved, angled or irregular projection surfaces.
- Multiple 4K projectors need independent cropping, blending and synchronization.
- Professional passive / active 3D processing is part of the system requirement.n.
- The display-processing architecture should remain independent from the playback PC or media server.
Need multiple sources across the full canvas?
Pair the UD100 Series with an S902 or G901 upstream to create the multi-source layout before projector-side geometry correction and edge blending.
Consider Another GeoBox
M810 Series
When Full HD / WUXGA projector output is sufficient.
M810 provides the same general hardware-processing approach for systems that do not require 4K output per projector.
G900 Series
When geometry correction and edge blending are already handled by the projectors.
Use G900 for source-side image cropping and distribution, scaling, aspect-ratio adjustment, output-format management and frame synchronization, while the projectors perform the final geometry correction and edge blending.
M800EX
Consider M800EX when the application requires advanced hardware projection mapping for irregular objects or complex surfaces, including stored mapping patterns and dedicated mapping workflows.
