The 10th annual Korea Gyeongju World Culture Expo
Providing immersive experience in Museums through projection mapping
Korean distributor Electrosmith and Korean integrator EASYWITH built three permanent interactive displays using GeoBox edge-blending processors at the 10th annual Korea Gyeongju World Culture Expo, housed at the Gyeongju International Culture Expo Park in Gyeongju. The expo focuses on promoting diverse cultures, and this year’s theme was ‘Culture, the Key to Our Future’, focusing on the history and culture of the Silla Kingdom (57BC-AD935). A variety of history and culture programs feature, in the forms of exhibits, experiences, performances, and videos.
All of the displays utilise the simplified GeoBox system, installed in three small rooms, utilising low power consumption. GeoBox makes installation and maintenance easy, with images corrected via remote control and no need for PC or network connections for any image re-alignment. Six GeoBox edge-blending processors were utilized (4x M804; 2x G703), alongside 22x Panasonic MZ770 projectors, 3x PCs for content, and interactive sensors.
