In May 2023, GeoBox had the privilege of supporting Sony Europe at OMR, the highly-regarded digital marketing event worldwide, held in Hamburg, Germany. Sony Europe has chosen GeoBox as its video signal processing solution provider on multiple occasions, and each collaboration has been an exciting and challenging endeavor.
The Role of GeoBox in Creating a Pro-AV Visual Experience
A striking pro-AV visual experience consists of three elements: the video source, the signal processor, and the display device. The invisible, yet critical, role that GeoBox plays is that of a signal processor. In order to create a truly neat and beautiful scene, the signal processors are often stationed in the most invisible corners and are not easily accessible for servicing. Therefore, robustness and reliability have always been the most basic and critical requirements to meet.
GeoBox's Collaboration with Sony Europe
Sony Europe required an eye-catching video wall for OMR. The wall needed to display Sony’s 4K Bravia displays of varying sizes, rotated in different orientations, and streaming video content from a Blu-ray DVD player. The GeoBox G904 UHD video wall controller met all these requirements with just a few steps of configuration via an IR remote controller. The result was a seamless and high-quality video displayed across the video wall.
