GeoBox partners with Fujifilm for edge-blending ‘brand relationship’

We are thrilled to announce a ‘brand relationship’ in Europe with Fujifilm, manufacturer of market-leading, cutting-edge optical technology projection lenses and its new ultra-short-throw (UST) projector with a two-axial rotatable lens – a world first. Fujifilm will recommend GeoBox to customers wishing to create fully immersive projection installations.

With its UST capability producing a 254cm (100in) image from only 54cm, and boasting superior vertical lens shift from a high-spec FUJINON lens, Fujifilm’s FP-Z5000 is the ideal choice for multiple-projector pro AV installations, when used alongside a GeoBox edge blender (G800 and M800 series)  – recently relaunched onto the market with 8K/1K at 30Hz or 4K/2K at 60Hz input capability, improving imagery from shorter distances thanks to a finer pixel pitch.

By utilising GeoBox hardware edge-blender alongside Fujifilm projectors, integrators can achieve the best-possible images alongside flexible installation and simple maintenance. The ability to daisy-chain multiple GeoBoxes means that there are no limits to creating truly immersive experiences.

“We’re excited to be working with VNS to recommend GeoBox edge-blending processor solutions to integrators deploying our new FP-Z5000 projector for multi-projector installations,” says Makoto Tomiyama, General Manager, FUJIFILM Optical Devices Europe GmbH. “The ability of GeoBox to work in tandem with multiple FP-Z5000 projectors to create immersive edge-blending and geometry correction allows our customers to create totally immersive solutions.”

“I’d like to thank Fujifilm for recognising the unique qualities of GeoBox, and for recommending our products to their discerning customers” says VNS Inc. CEO Steve Wang. “GeoBox is of particular benefit for those installing multi-projector edge-blending installations, with enhanced imagery for easy installation, and flexible and easy maintenance.”

Fujifilm demonstrated a GeoBox edge-blender with three FP-Z5000 projectors to create an immersive projection-powered room at Integrate Expo in Australia in August.  If you are interested, a video demonstration can be viewed as below on our YouTube channel.
