VNS Inc. GeoBox video control solutions launched into Europe
Innovative projection edge-blending processors and video-wall controllers available from April
Taiwan-based VNS Inc. has announced that its innovative range of GeoBox video control solutions are now available in Europe, via its Netherland-based agent MatrixWorks. GeoBox is a range of innovative, cost-effective standalone one-box processors for controlling edge-blending output from multiple projectors and managing video-wall content.
Boasting high-quality image reproduction (true 4K/60hz, 10-bit and 4:4:4 chroma sampling with HDCP 2.2/1.4), all GeoBox solutions are 100% hardware and will control digital content from any input in any format, with no need for a separate PC. Unlimited displays can be controlled by multiple, cascading GeoBoxes.
GeoBox’s unique edge-blending products have all of their functions embedded. A new concept for the professional AV market, the G802 (two-projector) and G804 (four-projector) solutions allow installers to crop images, set overlap pixels, edge-blend and geometrically adjust images without the need for high-cost embedded projectors or media servers. They can be used with any projector including short-throw models, providing enhanced flexibility and reduced costs for the whole system. The ability to daisy-chain multiple GeoBoxes means that there are no limits to creating truly immersive experiences.
The first GeoBox video-wall control products available in Europe include the unique-to-market,
4-channel G406, which can show discrete content on each display without the need for a separate matrix switcher. The 8-channel G408, 4-channel G406L (no matrix functionality), and 2-channel
G-406S (no matrix) are also shipping.
In addition, VNS has introduced the G403, a 4K/30Hz unique-to-market creative video-wall controller, allowing users to set images at any angle and combination across multiple displays manually or choose from a variety of pre-set modes.
