4K in-out Video wall controller with Multi-viewer – ‘world first’
Unveiling 'world first' GeoBox multiple 4K in/out video wall controllers
VNS Inc has introduced its full GeoBox G900 series of video wall controllers, designed to empower integrators with the ultimate in 4k flexibility, following the launch of the G901 earlier this year. Multiple 4k inputs and outputs allow discrete 4k content to be displayed on each individual LCD or LED video wall monitor – a world’s first – and true 4k or 8k/2k one-image content across the whole wall (as below picture). In addition, built-in, programmable PIP/POP/Multi-viewer (2/3/4-split views per channel) functionality means that users have even more flexibility.
The G900 series allows users to save 4K input as different ‘profiles’ and switch them via a remote control ‘hot key’, or RS232, for the ultimate in flexibility. Programmable output resolutions produce true pixel-to-pixel display quality on large display systems with non-standard image resolutions, such as LED walls.
PIP images can be placed in any location and in any size on the video wall or projection-blended installation, with POP images able to be placed side-by-side or top-to-bottom. Uniquely, main and secondary images can be rotated, flipped and swapped around independently, with adjustable cropping area and aspect ratios. Different display modes can be pre-saved for different presentation scenarios. Thanks to the powerful PIP/POP functionality, and using different combinations of cascading processors, users can show multiple views including 3/6/9/16-split screens on one UHD 4K LED wall or video wall (as below picture).

The G901 is a single channel true 4k input/output processor with 3x HDMI 2.0 and 2x DP 1.4 inputs and one HDMI output. The 2-channel G902 has one input/output module: two pairs of HDMI inputs and a single HDMI input, plus 2x HDMI outputs and a HDMI loop out. The 4-channel G904 offers two modules. Each input supports up to 4096×2400@60hz, or 7680×2160@30hz. Each output supports up to 4096*2400@60hz or 3120*3120 @60Hz.
Each processor can switch video sources, convert formats, scale up and down in 10-bits, precisely crop and flip/rotate images, and supports non-VESA standard input timings and editable output timing. Images with specific resolutions and locations can be cropped from the signal source and optimised resolutions can be outputted to the large display system. Because they support non-standard resolution inputs, G900 processors can be used to convert non-standard resolution inputs into standard resolution outputs, which can be playable on monitors for the purpose of system monitoring.
“Following the launch of our G901 processor earlier this year, the full G900 series is the first in the world to allow discrete 4k input content to be displayed on individual screens, and also one large 4k input image across the whole wall – it’s a game-changer,” says VNS Inc. CEO Steve Wang. “Integrators can achieve true pixel-to-pixel quality on their large display installations, with unparalleled flexibility in source switching, PIP/POP and aspect ratio adjustment. And the processors require no separate PC or software either!”
